International Woman's Golf Day

Celebrated the 2025 International Women’s Day at Wollongong Golf Club

Today was all about the incredible women of Wollongong. From local business owners and community leaders to mums, daughters, neighbours and friends. This day was a celebration of the strength, kindness and resilience that holds our community together.

We’re grateful to play a small part in bringing women across our region together, creating space for meaningful conversations, new connections and shared support. Here’s to the women who shape Wollongong everyday.

Running Beside Our Community, Proud Supporters of the Wollongong Running Festival

This year we were proud to stand behind the Wollongong Running Festival, cheering on runners, families and local clubs from across our community.

As your local McGrath team, we love being part of events that bring Wollongong together and showcase why this is such an incredible place to live, work and invest.

Backing St Michael’s Thirroul: Supporting the Next Generation

At McGrath Illawarra, giving back starts close to home with the young people growing up in our local communities.

We’re proud to support St Michael’s Thirroul as they help shape the next generation of learners, leaders and neighbours. Our partnership is about more than sponsorship; it’s about showing up for local families, students and teachers in a practical, ongoing way.

Whether it’s backing school initiatives, helping with events, or simply being present in the school community, we’re committed to playing our part. Strong schools help build strong suburbs. We’re grateful for the opportunity to support the students of St Michael’s as they grow, learn and find their place in the Illawarra community.

Supporting local talent, one step at a time

We’re proud to contribute to The Illawarra Dancing Academy and the incredible young performers who train there. From tiny tots taking their first class to seniors preparing for the stage, the academy brings confidence, creativity and connection to families across the Illawarra.

Backing our Hawks and our hometown

We’re excited to be a player sponsor for Illawarra Hawks star Tyler Harvey for the 24/25 NBL season. The Hawks are such an important part of the Illawarra’s identity, bringing people together game after game, year after year.

Supporting local sport is one way we can give back to the community that trusts us with their homes and investments. Here’s to a huge season ahead for Tyler and the Hawks.
